Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight round fight which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "stamp all over" the American and "defeat" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming boxing match.
Ex twice world title holder Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge disparity - at Miami venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I will damage his features and damage his physique. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to seriously aim to injure him. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
Despite such comments, a composed Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically known for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather attacked former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "a joke" after Ngannou declined a bout proposal.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
Despite saying he intends to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he stated.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He lost to Briton Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
However, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, consistently making substantial earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would derail the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly being planned for two years from now.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.
Physical Difference
As both boxers participated in the customary face-off, with their size difference clearly visible, it emphasized just how improbable this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the match is actually happening.
